Summary
A little girl, clumsy as all hell but also really kind and respectful comes down to Asgard with her step brother Bucky and meets loki. They instantly become best friends and spend the afternoon together playing games, laughing, and talking. When it’s time to go home, she tells loki she loves him and he doesn’t think it’s a joke. The next day, he introduces her to Frigga and Odin, they both gasp in surprise at the sight of the child. Loki looks down at the happy baby and feels something blossom in his chest, it’s love. He knows it’s his daughter and he vows to protect her as if she was the only thing in the universe that mattered.
She was a frost giant’s daughter, the perfect reminder of him and all that they had been through together. It was a love he would never let die, and no harm could befall her ever again.
He smiles at her, he has no idea how she knew about his past or why she’d trusted him with such a private secret but she smiles at him and he knows that she is his daughter and he is hers. He has never loved anyone as much as he loves you and it’s only through your death that he realized that. Now he just has to make sure that your memory and my love live on in her as well. And so he vows to be a father that you would be proud of.
