Disney+ Releases New Loki Poster

Disney+ has released a new poster for the Marvel Loki series that gives fans a fresh look at the god of mischief. The new image features Tom Hiddleston in the TVA suit he wore in the first season of the show. It’s a reference to the Time Variance Authority, which is part of the Marvel Comics universe and monitors multiple realities and timelines.

It appears that the second season of Loki will deal with the ramifications of the Avengers meddling with the time stream in Avengers: Endgame. The TVA logo on the suit and a ticking clock in the background hint at this, along with Hiddleston’s trademark smirk.

The poster also highlights other characters from the show, including OB, Miss Minutes, and Ravonna Renslayer. The latter is the leader of a group of variant Lokis who form a small group in the first episode. There’s also the Boastful Loki, who thinks highly of himself, and Alligator Loki, who hugs people for fun.

Ke Huy Quan’s Ouroboros, or OB, is another character highlighted on the poster, which is a nod to his McDonald’s pop-up that featured him in a mechanic’s uniform. OB oversees technology and repairs at the TVA, which is where we first see him in the first trailer for Loki. He has a very unique personal workstation and typewriter, which is showcased on this poster.

The new poster is just the latest piece of promotional art for the Marvel series. In addition, Disney+ released a new trailer for the show this week that introduces Kang the Conqueror and the first appearance of Sylvie, the female version of Loki from the future.
