Loki Budget for Marvel’s Loki

After Marvel’s last TV series, Secret Invasion, flopped, Disney and Marvel are hoping that loki budget will turn things around. The studio has reported that it spent $141.3 million pre-production and filming the second season of its new series. This is considerably more than the $211 million that went into the making of the first season.

While props, sets, and locations account for a large portion of the cost, the other big factor is star power. The show’s cast includes Tom Hiddleston and a number of other MCU veterans. It also filmed in the UK, where production costs are typically higher than in other countries.

The first season of Loki was a critical and commercial success. Its premiere broke the record for the most-watched Disney+ series premiere and has a 82% score on review aggregation site Rotten Tomatoes. It’s no wonder that Disney and Marvel are putting so much money into the series.

The series’ story revolves around the God of Mischief and his mission to destroy the Avengers. Loki is mad at himself for facilitating the creation of the team, and he is using his powers to trick Magneto, Kingpin, Doctor Doom, Red Skull, the Mandarin, and others into attacking Midgard’s champions as well as the heroes themselves.
