The first issue of the Loki comic focuses on his origin and rise to power. The main character of the first issue is Thor, but the comic focuses on Loki’s hatred of him. The second issue deals with Loki’s love life and his lust for Hela, the fae queen who betrayed the God of Thunder. The Loki comic is an excellent place to begin to learn about the God of Thunder and his role as the “Dark God.”
As a god of mythology, Loki’s powers make him a powerful and versatile character. His shape-shifting abilities are so powerful that he can assume nearly any form, including inanimate objects. While he is often depicted as a wolf, he has also been depicted as a snake, eagle, mouse, and bee. Some of his other forms include dragon, owl, and stag.
