Loki Featurette Reveals the Multiverse

Marvel Television’s Loki ends with a cliffhanger that will not only impact the future of its own series, but also the greater MCU. Its season one finale reveals the inner workings of the Multiverse, introducing us to He Who Remains and his Variants. It also explains that when someone makes a choice outside the timeline, it can affect everyone, including those in charge of protecting the Sacred Timeline. That is why the 2012 Loki’s decision to evade capture is such a big deal, as it leaves him stripped of his redemption arc and tragic death at the hands of Thanos.

MCU audiences will soon get a chance to learn more about the mysterious Multiverse thanks to Disney+’s upcoming return of Loki. The series, which returns October 5, stars Tom Hiddleston as the titular villain, Owen Wilson as Mobius, Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie, and Ke Huy Quan as OB, who is likely to become everyone’s newest favorite character.

The newest featurette for the show gives the spotlight to Quan, explaining more about his character who serves as the hidden brains of the Time Variance Authority. It also explores unexplored lore in a way that Marvel Studios films never have.
