Loki is one of Norse mythology’s most infamous gods for both his good and evil deeds. He has a close relationship with Odin and Thor, but also a rivalry with them as well. He was a trickster and an intelligent god who could change shape at will and use a variety of magic abilities. He was a master of mead drinking and sleight of hand and had an innate machiavellian nature that made him very dangerous.
He is also a very powerful shape shifter and has been known to take on the form of a salmon, a mare, a fly, and an elderly woman named Thokk. He was an all-powerful god and could effortlessly change the course of events at will, but he also had a lust for power that caused him to lie and manipulate those around him for his own gain.
During his time bound in his cave, he was foretold to slip free of his bonds during the upcoming battle for Ragnarok and join the forces of the Jotnar, where he would eventually fight Heimdall and kill him. This battle, along with the rest of the apocalypse, was long-prophesized in Norse mythology.
He has a lot of children, including Jormungandr, the World Serpent, and Fenrir, the wolf who is prophesied to eat Odin during Ragnarok. He also possesses a magical ship called the Naglfar and is the captain of it, which brings the giants to fight alongside the gods.
