In the latest episode of the Cardfight!! Vanguard series, Halldor uses this card in a flashback to explain how he, Dragan and Broder found the Aesirs. He then activates the effect of this card to make all Aesir monsters immune to Yusei’s card effects for one turn. However, Yusei activates “Trick Mirror” and stops the effect of this card from activating.
This card is a Nordic Spirit tuner, and is similar to Odin in that it can negate magic and traps in BP and is strong against attack reaction monsters. This card, however, is a little harder to get out than Odin because it requires two Nordic tuners, and one of those tuners has very strong quirks. It also has a self-revive effect, which can be very helpful in certain situations.
In Norse mythology, Loki or Loptr was a cunning trickster god or jotunn who could change his shape and sex at will. He was the son of Farbauti and Laufey, and brother to Helblindi and Byleistr. He was also the father of Hel, the wolf Fenrir and the world serpent Jormungandr. As such, he is considered one of the Aesir, a tribe of gods or jotunns. He was often portrayed as an enemy of the gods, and he was bound to a rock by the entrails of one or more of his sons as punishment. He was later freed by the gods, and he became their companion and helper.
