The God of Mischief’s back and ready to cause some chaos in a new loki trailer. The second season of the Marvel Studios series, starring Tom Hiddleston as the Tesseract-stealing trickster, will pick up after last year’s finale, which set up both an ideologically divided Loki and Sylvie (Sophia Di Martino), not to mention a whole lot of variants of Kang the Conqueror in a variety of timelines. It’s all part of the multiverse, and as you’ll see in the new mid-season trailer, there are endless possibilities ahead.
It’s also possible someone will screw that up. The new trailer for the Marvel Plus show, whose first episode has already garnered more than 80 million views on YouTube, includes plenty of unseen scenes along with a new look at Mobius outside the TVA as well as Ke Huy Quan’s Ouroboros, who is counting down to catastrophe. Rafael Casal and Kate Dickie will both be joining the cast as well, though their roles remain unclear.
The season two premiere of the most-watched Marvel series on Disney+ takes place October 6, with Eric Martin serving as head writer, along with Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead, Dan Deleeuw and Kasra Farahani directing episodes. Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Owen Wilson, Wunmi Mosaku, Isabelle Fuhrman, Liz Carr and Eugene Cordero will all return as well.
