The story of Persona 5 takes place in the fictional world of Akechi’s Palace. Loki is the main character of this game and is the only Persona that has the Laevateinn skill. The skill is used in a boss battle and is Almighty, but Loki can turn it Physical after Akechi rejoins the party. As Loki’s Persona type, he can fuse with Robin Hood to form Hereward. This Fusion is made possible when Akechi gets the calling card from Takuto Maruki.
In the original game, Loki is a non-recruitable demon that can be obtained by fusion. In the remake, he can be acquired from a Nemechi and costs 300 D-Souls. He starts out with low loyalty, but can be bribed with gems and is able to use all four magical Loyalty skills. Additionally, he can transform into a Joyous Bedding, which has a Normal Affinity and can be used in battles.
After defeating Flynn, Loki decides to put his plans of war on hold. He also enjoyed fighting Flynn, but did not expect to face such a powerful opponent as the human. In the current world, he laughs, as his domain vanishes, leaving him without a sword. This new look for Loki is a welcome addition to the game. The game’s storyline is also rich in character lore and mythology.
