The Incredible Hulk – Who Is The Real Author Of This Comic Book?
DescriptionLoki, also known as Logix is a fictional character existing in American comic books launched by Marvel Comics. Created by scripter Larry Lieber, penciller Jack Kirby and artist Stan Lee, a variation of this character first showed up in late September 1963’s Journey into Mystery # 85. The modern-day incarnations of the devil like character first appears in late September or early October of the same year. The character was made more interesting when a tie-in story called “The Cats of loose leash” hit the shelves featuring characters from all corners of the Marvel Universe such as Spider-Man, X-Men, Fantastic Four and the X-Men. It also featured several appearances by characters not normally related to either the Avengers or the Fantastic Four like Wolverine, Cyclops, Beast and the Human Torch.
The history surrounding the creation of the fictional character begins with a misadventure of Dr. Curt Connor, an American biochemist working for the military. While testing some new serum he concocts for military purposes, he accidentally injects an alien into Storm’s body. The alien begins to take control of Storm’s mind causing a massive change in her personality; she becomes consumed with rage and kills herself trying to destroy the facility she is in. In the process, the serum accidentally sends Storm into a coma. The serum was supposed to be destroyed but when it was given to Storm by Dr. Bruce Banner, she used it to battle and defeat her enemies. Later, tests revealed that the serum could not only change the molecular structure but also give her superhuman strength and abilities including flight, speed, stamina and resistance to any form of injury.
In the various different iterations of the Marvel Universe, The Hulk has been portrayed as both a nemesis and a love interest for Professor X. During the most recent revisions of storylines, The Hulk was transformed into an agent of destruction after absorbing the Gamma Orb which contained portions of Gamma radiation. He now seeks revenge against those who made him lose his love, as well as those who were responsible for transforming him (The Hulk. Gray Hulk).
