The Loki Series Cast Returns For Season 2

loki series cast

The loki series cast is all set to return for the second season of the Marvel Studios TV series. Tom Hiddleston, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sophia Di Martino, Ke Huy Quan, Owen Wilson and Eugene Cordero have all been confirmed for the second season. The show’s premiere date has not been announced yet, but production on the new episodes was expected to wrap in October 2022.

The first season of the show follows a young version of Loki (Tom Hiddleston) who escapes from his fated timeline and winds up at TVA headquarters. There, he encounters Mobius and Hunter B-15, two agents dedicated to the maintenance of the timeline. He then sees a statue of He Who Remains at the center of a library that has a number of alternate timelines.

Mobius informs him that the statue marks the location of the Tesseract, which is still missing following the events of Infinity War. The God of Mischief is then captured by the agency and brought to a room where Mobius interrogates him. It isn’t clear how Loki will get out of this.

Mobius tells him that he can kill the Kang variant (Sylvie) that was revealed in the first episode’s post-credit scene, but warns him that doing so will unleash a multiverse of madness with even more evil and dangerous versions of himself. The agency also reveals that the new timeline is experiencing a series of catastrophic natural disasters. It isn’t clear how Loki or Mobius will deal with this situation, but it does suggest that the show will explore some of the other timelines created by the Time Keepers.
