The Loki Villain

The Loki villain is a long-running character from the Marvel Comics Universe. While the character was once a duplicitous god, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has softened his edges. His main villain is Miss Minutes, the animated orange clock that has always been there since the first issue of the series. This is the main reason for Loki’s corruption. The cartoon version of Loki’s character has a relatable quality, and makes him an easily-understood villain.

The origin of the character is unknown, but there’s no doubt that it draws from the history of Marvel comics. He was a demigration from Asgard, and has attempted to rule both Asgard and Earth with the help of other supervillains. His antagonism with Thor is particularly striking, as the hero of the Marvel Universe is Loki’s adoptive brother. Throughout the years, Loki has been betrayed by his own brother, and returned from apparent death to destroy the world. This has left him an anti-hero, who’s not so different from the original comic book’s version of the villain.

In the comics, Loki has been the main villain for a number of years. However, his appearance in the movies has only recently become public knowledge. After being relegated to the background of a comic book character, he’s become the most popular villain in the MCU. As the main antagonist of the Thor movies, he has become a beloved part of the Marvel Universe. He’s also a favorite among comic book fans, and his villainous actions are often a source of great interest.
